What is Sir Herbert Read?

Sir Herbert Read Consortium is the nonprofit fundraising partner of Licton Springs K-8.

The PTO itself is not designated as a nonprofit organization and so cannot collect and manage money. Many of the projects of the PTO require funding. This is the role of Sir Herbert Read.

The PTO and Sir Herbert Read work together to plan and fund projects and events at LSK-8.

Projects funded:

• Community Comfort

  • Ensuring all families have coats, food and other necessary personal items

• Teacher Appreciation

  • Providing swag and special gifts for our amazing staff

• RITES of Passage 

  • Annual coming of age experiences for our 8th grade students. 

• School Projects

  • Any additional funds go towards supplementing field trips and ensuring equity across school activities.
